Hi, I'm Jen!

 

I was born to talk. All of my report cards read... "Jenny is a pleasure to have in class, but she talks too much!"  I have always been happy with a microphone in my hand (even a hairbrush playing the role of mic) whether to sing, recite something from memory, lead a group, or tell of the love and work of Jesus.

I love to read, love to eat, love to learn, love to lead and love to sing, loudly, in my car.

I’m a Christian. Wholly devoted to Christ and His ability to redeem every horrible thing to bring beauty from the ashes of any life. My personal mantra is He is Enough!  For every situation, in any circumstance, always.

 

I’m a wife and mom, living in Southern California, who works full-time and stays mostly sane keeping my house running and other people organized. 

 

I have two girls ages 13 and 18. They bring me joy and keep my ego in check every day. They both have amazing hearts for people.  God is using their stories to impact people for His kingdom.

I’ve been married to Shawn for nearly 23 years—together we have a challenging and beautiful story of love, loss and new life.

I believe that stories matter. That being honest about the ways we've been broken opens us up to live in freedom and see the big story God is writing with our lives.
